If I may butt in as well *g* - I think Doyle is rather tenacious in his pursuits, quite the hunter - I'm thinking about how he came on to Miss Fly-Me (I suppose it's technique to wait until the dishes are done!), Kookie Girl, and he certainly pursued Ann. Also Anita in "Blood Sports, IIRC.
