Summer in CI5

Well, the birds woke me up around 3.30am this morning, making me think that it really must be summer time - whereupon I realised that I'm being really really really slow about changing my homepage at the site-under-construction that is Palelyloitering. See, it was supposed to have zine recs to fit with the seasons, just to make it a bit prettier (and to remind me to go and re-read the stories too *g*), and you wouldn't think it would be too hard to find those, but...

So I was wondering - what are your favourite lads-in-the-summer fics..?

Well it's a typical English, summer day here: grey and raining!

Anyway, favourite summer themed fic, here's a couple which spring to mind:

"Cider With Bodie" by Lizzie.
A gorgeous AU, as always from this author.
It's set at harvest time though, so I hope that qualifies as summer!

"The Ball was Good" by Sebastian
Very apt this, what with Wimbledon starting on Monday. I'm much more interested in Bodie and Doyle playing tennis though, especially when things turn out the way Sebastian suggests!

"On a Lazy Summer Afternoon..." by LH
With a title like that, it has to be perfect for summertime reading.
Definitely hot stuff!

Wind and rain here today - but at least we've not got the flooding they've had elsewhere... ah, England in June... (althought I am eating strawberries for breakfast...) *g*

Excellent call on the recs - and I'm not even sure I've read that last one, so I shall have to go and have a look at that... *g* And I would never have thought of The Ball was Good, in a million years... And just oh for Lizzie-fic... Thank you!
